Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate is indicated as a rapid adrenal glucocorticoid and/or anti-inflammatory agent. Each ml contains 4 mg dexamethasone sodium phosphate, equivalent to 3 mg dexamethasone. Dexamethasone is a synthetic corticosteroid and possesses glucocorticoid activity. Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate is for IV administration only. The usual dosage for horses is 2-5.5 mg.
